No I’m not racist, a woman and/or AA candidate is a great idea. I simply expect a candidate to prove to me they value my support and understand how their policies affect my daily life. Imho, Gov. Bill Richardson, Senator John Edwards, and Senator Hillary Clinton all knew how their policies affect the working people of this country, and they cared. Obama, on the other hand, has proven he could care less. Which do we want, a McCain third Bush term, or an Obama third Bush term?

In the past I’ve often plugged my nose and voted for the Democratic Party candidate, but not this year. My vote will either go to Nader or McCain, I’m just not sure yet who I dislike the most.

I’m voting McCain this year. My first Republican vote ever. Both candidates are bad options but I’m not rewarding the DNCs bad behavior. You reap what you sow.

I accepted Clinton’s move to the center in ‘92 because I knew at that time it was the only way a Democrat could win. But this should have been the year for Democrats to win by moving back towards our own traditional values. A strong, confident candidate could have sold progressivism this year.

Clinton treated you as an adult. Edwards treated you as an adult. Obama treated you as a toy, a piece of silly putty that he could mold into his own legion of toy soldiers marching onto Washington to defeat the evil lobbyists who form his very own shock troops.

Wow, incredible writing, Charles. And a very apt takedown of the mindless, kool aid sodden drivel of the Obamabots who have put us in this mess to start with. I’ll never forgive them for the fact that they’ve forced me to vote for McCain just to keep their dangerous Messiah out of the White House. If Obama were to win, we will see untold damage done to our country. And we’ll have lost the Democratic Party at least for my lifetime. That’s way too high a price to pay.
