I wrote it this morning and I had no idea that this would come today but I am guessing that it was arranged after Obama's debacle in West Virginia. Look, John Edwards cares about the Democratic Party and he still believes that it can be a vehicle for change. I don't share that assessment but that doesn't take away from the esteem I hold for him. Poverty is a moral imperative. Obama's only moral imperative is his own political welfare. Ironic isn’t it?
